Realistic AI photo: how to evaluate a result before publishing
A realistic AI photo is not judged by detailed skin alone. Light, proportions and interactions with the setting must tell the same scene. Here is a reading method for choosing the most compelling images.

Read light before textures
Observe the illuminated areas of the face, the shadows of the body and the reflections of objects. They must seem to belong to the same atmosphere. Strong studio lighting on a character placed on a diffused street can make it look like a collage, even when every detail appears sharp.
Check contact areas
Hands touching a table, feet on the floor and hair in front of a collar require special attention. See if the limits remain understandable. For a car scene, also check the reflections and the parts of the body close to the windows: these interactions strongly influence the credibility of the whole.
Compare to broadcast size
An image can work well in thumbnail and reveal anomalies in large format. Do both readings. Also check the resemblance if a personal reference was used in the creation. Visual realism and faithfulness to a person are two distinct criteria that must be examined separately.
Putting this idea into practice
Use a selection grid with three columns: composition, physical coherence and fidelity to the subject. Discard an image with an annoying defect in its intended use, even if its atmosphere is successful.
Before choosing your images
- Observe shadows and reflections.
- Inspect hands, eyes and contacts.
- Reread the image in large and thumbnail form.
To prepare your series, also consult how the studio works and packages and their total amounts.
